Sushi Tower Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 October 2026, for version 1.3.
Sushi Tower can keep a copy of your progress online and lets you choose shared features such as chat. From version 1.3, it also offers optional cosmetic purchases where purchase services are available. This page explains the information used for those features. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising or tracking across other apps and websites. We use service providers to operate accounts, cloud saves, social features and purchases, as described below.
What is collected, and why
- An account identifier, only if you sign in. From version 1.2 nothing is stored on our game server until you sign in with Apple or Google; the account is then identified by a random ID. (Versions 1.1 and earlier created an anonymous account automatically.)
- Your game progress, once you sign in. Your save (money, floors, businesses, staff, settings for the game) and the list of actions that produced it are sent to our server, which checks that the progress follows the game's rules and stores a backup.
- Your email address, only if you sign in. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional; it backs your progress up, lets you move it to another device, and is needed for the rich list, leagues, guilds, chat and purchases. Apple or Google gives us your email address (Apple can give a private relay address instead).
- A display name, only if you choose one. The rich list, leagues, guilds and districts show other players your display name, your guild's name and how much your empire is worth. Nothing about you is shown to other players until you pick a display name, and you can leave the rich list at any time.
- Chat messages, only if you send them. From version 1.2 players who have chosen a display name can chat in a public town room and in their guild's room. A message you send is stored with your display name, the room and the time, and is shown to the other players in that room. Your account identifier is stored separately and is never shown to other players. Messages are checked by our server before they are stored: links, contact details and offensive language are refused. Messages are deleted automatically after two days. Players can report a message, and three reports from different players hide it and pause its sender's chat for 24 hours; reports are kept so we can review them. You can block a player on your device. If you delete your account, the link between you and your messages is removed at once and the messages themselves disappear within two days.
- Purchase information, when purchase services connect. From version 1.3, we send your signed-in game account ID to RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider, when purchase services connect. This can happen before you choose to buy. RevenueCat processes store purchase records, including product and transaction identifiers, purchase dates, price, currency and purchase or refund status, along with technical information such as device type, operating system and locale. We use this account-linked information to verify and restore purchases, unlock collections, prevent fraud and understand purchase activity through RevenueCat's reporting dashboard. We do not send your email, display name or chat messages to RevenueCat. The applicable app store processes payment details; Sushi Tower and RevenueCat do not receive your card number.
- Collection ownership and trades. Our game service stores collection ownership and verification records, plus numbered game-cash editions, listings and trades. This lets us restore your collection, enforce the limited game-cash supply and prevent invalid trades. Paid editions cannot be traded. Trades use game cash only; there is no exchange for real money.
Account, progress and social information operate the game. Purchase information and the related account ID also support purchase verification, support and purchase analytics. This information is linked to your account. It is not used for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
Where it is kept
Your progress is stored on your device and, when online services are enabled, with our backend provider Supabase in the United States. The applicable app store processes purchases. RevenueCat processes purchase information and the related game account ID to manage and report on purchases. Our server receives verified ownership and transaction information from RevenueCat. Payment-card details are not stored in your game save or our Supabase database.
Your choices
You can play without signing in. You can turn cloud backup off in Settings > Account; buying and restoring collections require sign-in, online services and an internet connection. Turning cloud backup off does not delete information already held by our services or the app store.
You can delete your account in Settings > Account. We request deletion of your RevenueCat customer data, including its purchase history, and remove your game account and linked records from Supabase. RevenueCat processes accepted deletion requests asynchronously. If the deletion request cannot be accepted, the app shows an error so you can retry. Your local game progress remains on this device; deleting the app removes that local copy. Your app store keeps its own purchase records under its policies. Deleting your game account does not request a refund.
What the app does not do
No advertising or advertising identifiers. No tracking across other apps or websites. Coins and gems are earned by playing; optional purchases unlock cosmetic collections only. The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts or location. Purchase reporting is described above.
Children
Children can play without signing in, with progress saved on the device. Chat and other shared social features stay switched off until a player signs in and chooses a display name. Purchases require a signed-in game account and the applicable app store's purchase process. Please do not share personal information, such as your real name, address, school or contact details, in chat. A parent or guardian can contact us about a child's information using the address below.
Changes
If what the app collects changes, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the app's store privacy details will be updated to match.
